There is no doubt that the world is spinning through a whirlwind of Green Initiatives. Retail organizations and fashion designers cannot ignore the "go green" drives and trends towards sustainability. Although I am not 100% natural or 100% green, I am discovering ways to contribute that I hadn't considered before. Instead of venturing out of my budget or comfort zone, I researched ways that I can maintain my lifestyle while adding a little green, other than it being the most brilliant color in my wardrobe. Buy Vintage: Vintage is a great way for the average fashionista to join the green initiative. While trendy and in high demand, vintage clothes are unique pieces of recycled fashion. Add a little green to your wardrobe this season!

Reusable Shopping Bags: Reusable shopping bags are the epitome of mixing the pleasure of shopping with doing something good for the environment. Ditch the plastic!
Recycle: When I think of recycling I think of sorting through garbage to separate the plastics from the trash. Although I recommend recycling to every household, I wanted to find a way in which I could contribute within my lifestyle interests of fashion and beauty. Energy Efficiency at Home: There are companies out there that provide energy saving alternatives to materials you're already going to buy for your home remodeling project. From skin care and body products to cosmetics, this company has gone above and beyond to provide us with natural products.
