Hyperpigmentation Looks Better on Your Shoes

Banish Hyperpigmentation and Let Your Shoes Have the Spots

Banish Hyperpigmentation

Leopard print is maintaining its popularity and can make a bold or subtle fashion statement. From shoes and handbags to scarves and gloves, leopard print is a hot and funky trend that is expected to stick around for some time. No matter how popular, leopard print is not a fashion statement you want to make with your skin.

At some point in time we all experience the damaging effects of blemishes, injury, and sun exposure. What do these three things have in common? Hyperpigmentation; the dark spots and discoloration left behind as your body reacts to inflammation and injury.

Here are three things you'll need to banish hyperpigmentation:

1. A Skin Lightener - A skin lightening cream with an ingredient such as hydroquinone can progressively fade your dark spots over time.

2. Exfoliator - An exfoliator will gently slough off the top layer of dead skin taking discoloration along with it. Exfoliators can include soaps, scrubs, or peels.

3. Sun Protection - Without sun protection the work you put into lightening or exfoliating your skin will be a waste of time and money. Sun exposure without an SPF may enhance dark spots caused by blemishes and injury as well as cause sun spots or splotches and discoloration.

Combine these three beauty practices and you'll be on your way to a brighter more even-toned complexion.
