Winter is coming and I absolutely can't wait to pull out my scarves. Scarves serve as a warm up in the bitter cold but they're also a fashion statement. From solids and floral patterns to cottons and silks, there are a plethora of options. Here are a few ways to wear them:
Around the neck: This is the most obvious way to wear a scarf but what you may not know is there are several ways to tie a scarf around your neck to create a different look. Get creative!
Around the waist: Instead of a belt, you can dress up an outfit with a scarf around the waist. If it's a thin scarf, you can loop it through your jeans and let it hang on the sides. A bigger scarf can be loosely tied around your waist over a dress or skirt to add color and volume.
On your head: As a natural head, wearing a decorative scarf to cover my hair is a great way to protect my tresses during the winter.
Amazingly there are 30 or more ways to tie a scarf and with so many options, you're sure to find the look that works best for you and keeps the chill at bay when you're stepping out. Here's a great link to learn more than 30 ways to tie a scarf: http://www.scarves.net/how-to-tie-a-scarf.
